The estate and the wine
The estate and the wine The Christophe Pichon estate produces incredible wines that speak volumes of the winemaker’s skills, vision and expertise. The estate is without a doubt among the elite of the sector, crafting skillfully vinified wines in a modern and pleasant style.
Wine Delicate and fine, the 2019 Red Saint-Joseph has beautiful aromas of smoke, blackberry and blackcurrant. The palate is rich, slightly tannic and of beautiful freshness. It is a pure, digestible and harmonious wine that we particularly appreciate in this ready-to-drink style. A very nice bottle to be appreciated over a decade or so, with roast poultry or braised veal breast, rated 93/100 by our Selection Committee.
Vinification Hand harvested, aged for 12 months in barrels (from new to 4 wines).
