|
Deeply rooted in the Bekaa Valley since 1868, at over 1000 meters above sea level, Domaine des Tourelles is one of Lebanon's oldest and most esteemed wineries. Practicing organic farming, the 50 hectares overseen by Faouzi Issa (co-owner) yield some of the most authentic wines in the Middle East, benefiting from the most modern methods and the sharpest winemaking techniques.
Additionally, the estate is renowned for producing arak, boasting the oldest distillery in Lebanon. |

Crafted from a quartet of Cabernet, Syrah, Cinsault, and Carignan, the 2021 red Domaine des Tourelles Vallée de la Bekaa delights with delicate floral aromas complemented by hints of black cherries and spices. The palate, both broad and rich, impresses with its balance and freshness, framed by silky tannins. It's a wine you wouldn't expect from such latitudes, yet its harmony is impeccable and its deliciousness inherent! A splendid introduction to Lebanese wines. Olivier Poussier's absolute favorite, rated 92/100. |
