The estate and the wine
The estate and the wine Affirming an assured and ambitious style, the Domaine Dupré-Goujon has been producing a dazzling range of wines since 2015, creating a new refuge for discerning wine lovers. Straightforward and sincere wines, carried by a radiant gamay that Sébastien Dupré and Guillaume Goujon showcase through efficient organic and biodynamic viticulture, judicious plot selections, and controlled maturation between concrete tanks and barrels.

Trained by Frédéric Pourtalié (Montcalmès), the duo is committed to its low interventionist vinification methods and shapes wines of great precision, persistence, and long aging.
Wine The 2017 Red Côte de Brouilly Lieu-dit Les Brûhliés is a complete success, a Selection Committee Favorite rated 93/100. It is a relatively full-bodied wine, far from the "thirsty wine" registers of Beaujolais, carried by very ripe and well-extracted aromas of fruit, with fresh notes of cherry in syrup and pepper. The ample, full-bodied palate reveals beautiful red and black fruit flavors, highlighted by the sobriety of the maturation. The tannins are present but should be refined in the next six months. A quality bottle to be reserved for a nice piece of meat! Aging potential of three to five years.
Vinification Hand harvested, vinification in whole grapes and partially destemmed.
Aged for 24 months in demi-muids.
