From the best hillsides of Chavanay and old vines, the 2023 Red Saint-Joseph Côte Granits shows Syrah at its finest, with aromas of smoky bacon, black fruit and syrupy cherry, lifted by the subtle smoky touch of barrel aging. The palate is juicy and framed by fine-grained tannins, delivering a wine that is harmonious, fresh and precise, yet with plenty of backbone. A bottle to enjoy now through 2032. A favorite of the Selection Committee, rated 94 out of 100. |
