The estate and the wine
The estate and the wine Christine Vernay, an unrivaled figure in Côte-Rôtie and Condrieu, a true virtuoso of Viognier and Syrah, presides over one of France's most esteemed domains. Earning top accolades from the most distinguished critics, some even dare to rank her wines alongside the likes of La Romanée Conti or Ausone...

Born from a pristine environment and cultivated through organic principles, these wines represent the pinnacle of these awe-inspiring hillside terroirs, marked by an unwavering pursuit of finesse. Condrieu and Côte-Rôtie yield opulent materials, arguably among the most refined in their respective appellations. These two cuvées exemplify this pinnacle – make sure not to miss them.
Wine Derived from terroirs at the heart and south of the appellation, the 2021 Côte Rôtie Blonde du Seigneur is a model of elegant and aromatic Syrah. Regardless of the vintage, it's always one of the best-selling Côte-Rôties, consistently magical! Fine tannins, a sensual texture, deep aromas, a languorous and athletic structure, everything contributes to its expression and class. In this cooler vintage, it already offers drinkability while holding significant aging potential. Grandiose and perfectly realized, its power asserts itself gracefully, promising many more years of greatness. A great future awaits!
Vinification Hand-harvested, vinified for 3 to 4 weeks in temperature-controlled stainless-steel vats, then aged for 18 months in barrels (25% new).
