The estate and the wine A benchmark of the Mâconnais, Domaine Barraud holds 2 stars in the RVF Guide and is a must-know name in the region. The estate’s commitment to excellence, from organic vineyard practices to meticulous cellar work, is driven by Julien Barraud and his sister Anaïs. Their efforts produce age-worthy white wines that stand out for their balance and precision — some of the finest in the appellation.

From vines aged 40 to 60 years, this wine reveals a ripe, floral nose with a beautiful chalky touch and refined oak influence. The palate reflects this maturity, bringing richness and elegance, all enhanced by expertly managed aging. It will benefit from an additional 6 months to a year to fully integrate its elements. A true success! Rated 93/100 by the Selection Committee.
Vinification Hand-harvested, vinified and aged for 12 months, 60% of the harvest in oak barrels and the remaining 40% in 600-litre demi muids.
