The estate and the wine |

Béatrice and Vincent Rapin have a keen eye for detail. As attentive winemakers, they work on this small plot of barely 1.5 hectares with an almost monastic devotion. Practicing organic agriculture and applying the precepts of biodynamics to their vines, they undertake an enormous amount of work directly in the vineyard, that frees them from any interventionism in the cellar. Although limited and reserved for connoisseurs only, their confidential production was quickly acclaimed by critics, and Stéphane Derenoncourt, a famous Bordeaux winemaker and consultant, personally encouraged them. This wine is so unusual in the Bordeaux landscape, challenging the traditional codes of winemaking to deliver a pure, uncompromising and fruity wine.
You must take note of this rising star of the vineyard whose name nicely evokes a flower of the lily of the valley family that opens at eleven o'clock and closes at the end of the day. |

The 2020 Red Saint-Emilion Grand Cru La Dame de Onze Heures is a wine that stands out in the Bordeaux landscape. Aged in terracotta jars and tuns, it mixes styles and influences to perfection, carving its own path to success. On this very beautiful vintage, it expresses nice fruity aromas in a ripe and consistent palate with smooth tannins. It is a very seductive and delicate wine to discover at once. |
