The estate and the wine |
Pierre Gaillard, a great Rhône Valley winemaker, is now making a name for himself in Collioure in a spectacular way... Forming an association with Jean Baills and Mathieu, his son, he left the cooperative winery in 2002 and today produces a range of magnificent wines that are among the appellation's finest. Domaine Madeloc, covering around 30 hectares between sea and mountain, can hardly get any better. |

We know of Pierre Gaillard on Côte-Rôtie terroir, he has now shown us his great talent in Collioure. A complex bouquet, full of freshness, bursts out of the Domaine Madeloc's Serral 2008. The style is precise and satiny, already making this wine and this estate the appellation's best sellers. |
