The estate and the wine
The estate and the wine One of Burgundy’s flagship wineries, adored by pinot noir aficionados around the world, Joseph Drouhin is still managed by the same inventive and dynamic family. Its quality is unmatched!

Adhering to organic and biodynamic winemaking and precise vinification, this estate is a label of excellence. One of the greatest in Burgundy that brings the same passion and level of excellence to each wine, from the “simple” Village to the Grand Cru.
Wine Made from 2.5 hectares of the family vineyard and the young vines of the famous Clos des Mouches, the 2020 white Côte de Beaune takes up the codes of its elder brother. On this first-rate clay-limestone terroir, with light soil, the chardonnay expresses a rare finesse. Biodynamic viticulture and a measured aging in barrels, with 20% new oak, contribute to its delicacy and purity of expression. It is a pure delight of ripe fruit, ample and complex, with a touch of citrus fruits which, with ageing, will evolve towards grilled hazelnut. Taste this magnificent white wine without delay or keep it for a few more years in a cellar.
Vinification Hand harvested, aged in oak barrels, 20% of which are new, for 12 months.

Organic and Biodynamic wine, certified.
