A jewel in the crown of the Provence region, the Domaine de la Bégude cultivates a style unlike any other. Bought by the Tari family, the former owners of Château Giscours in Margaux, this vineyard has never ceased to raise its standards in order to make great terroir wines.
Made from the highest vines in the Bandol appellation, organically grown, the wines have a unique character, a certain class and style that even the big names in the business can't compare to. |

Blend of clairette (60%) with rolle and ugni blanc, the 2020 White Bandol Saint-Louis has a lot of freshness and style. The 2020 vintage has indeed produced nice sweet and acidic berries giving a lot of tension to the wine. The nose is delicate, fresh, with notes of bark and white fruit; the palate continues this tonic and pure register. It is a very thirst-quenching white wine, at ease as an aperitif but also at the table with fish or fresh goat cheese. Rated 91/100 by our Selection Committee. |
