With 2 stars in the RVF Guide, Eric Forest is on top of his game! Constantly striving for perfection, this talented winemaker is now one of Burgundy's finest signatures, producing only white wines of rare amplitude with a very chalky accent backed by precise aging.
Old vines cultivated according to biodynamic principles, grapes harvested at just the proper ripeness: this emotional address leaves no one indifferent. There's genius in this intuitive, meticulous winemaker, one of his generation's most consistent and talented! |

The very pure 2022 white Pouilly-Fuissé Mise en Bouche is a lovely, energetic wine. We immediately appreciate its floral touch, somewhere between hawthorn and honeysuckle, supported by delicate oaky, toasty, or exotic notes. Freshness is its matrix on the palate. It offers a creamy, elegant juice with the wood present without excess; a crisp, refined, fresh, and dynamic juice, ideally in line with the wonderful 2018, but with even greater precision. Serve chilled at around 9-10° as an aperitif or at the table with a delicate fish. A Selection Committee Favorite rated 95/100. |
