The estate and the wine
The estate and the wine Maison Bonnigal-Bodet is a newcomer to the vineyard, promising glorious times ahead! Jean-Baptiste Bonnigal, a disciple of François Chidaine, is the inspired creator of these wines; in partnership with Stéphane Bodet, he carefully forges fresh, intense and sapid cuvées, haloed by juicy fruit.
Wine The 2021 red Touraine-Amboise Diabolicôt is a fruit wine made exclusively from côt, another name for malbec. Generous fruit, black cherry with a hint of violet, supple, crisp tannins, temperament: enjoy it with cured meats or grilled meats. A wine for immediate pleasure, rated 90+/100 by the Committee.
Vinification Hand harvested, whole grapes carbonic maceration in foudres, natural alcoholic fermentation with indigenous yeasts for 9 days, aged 4 months in foudres on fine lees.

Estate in conversion to organic farming.
