The estate and the wine
The estate and the wine A giant in Meursault, Domaine François Mikulski remains a discreet yet highly sought-after name. Praised by critics and cherished by collectors, the estate’s wines rank among the finest in Burgundy, celebrated for their authenticity and honest reflection of their terroirs.

For over 30 years, François Mikulski — now joined by his son-in-law Thomas Boccon — has pursued a path of excellence, where purity, finesse, and freshness take center stage. With organic farming, restrained use of new oak, and perfectly timed harvests, every choice is guided by one goal: achieving true balance.
Wine From just 1.5 hectares of organically farmed vines on the edge of Meursault, the 2022 Bourgogne Côte d’Or Blanc delivers all the hallmarks of its prestigious neighbour — breadth, complexity, and length. Aged in barrel, yet with an incredibly light touch, it offers a silky, fruit-focused texture with immediate appeal. Juicy citrus and ripe stone fruit lead the way, while the finish lingers beautifully with a hint of white pepper and subtle spice. Elegant, precise, and irresistibly moreish.
Vinification Area: 1.5 hectares. Subsoil composed of fine river alluvium, common in the lower part of the hillside. Aged in oak barrels for around 10 months, then racked and transferred to vats for 2 months before bottling.
The vines are grown using non-certified organic methods.
