The estate and the wine
The estate and the wine This is one of the rising estates in Alsace, thanks to Sébastien Mann, who has given it a new impetus. Having arrived at the family estate just ten years ago, his touch is now perceptible in the wines. The two grands crus, Eichberg and Pfersigberg, are the fruit of meticulous work on the fifty plots cultivated biodynamically. We'd also like to point out the fine progress made by the red wines, which are more structured and very promising, as well as a rewarding choice of Pinot Gris and, of course, the excellent Pfersigberg Riesling, which we strongly suggest you discover! Their wines are unanimously appreciated for their precision and consistent quality, and have earned them a place among Alsace's elite estates.
Wine The Alsace Grand Cru Riesling Pfersigberg N°2 2016 seduces us with the purity of this grape variety that we adore, its lemony aromas, characteristic mineral-smoky-petrol notes, a particularly complex whole. With great intensity, this wine delights us with its fleshiness, consistency and depth of palate. Minerality and delicate bitters round off the tasting. A true Grand Cru! Imagine it with seafood, scallops, smoked salmon... This dry Riesling is a delight! Rated 92/100 by our committee.
