From a 25-acre parcel in the lower part of the appellation, on 55-year-old vines, the 2019 white Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru Champgain is a great wine, with texture and persistence. Notes of yellow fruit, peach, flowers and fine honey mingle in a delicate, concentrated yet very fresh frame with a chalky finish. |
