The estate and the wine
The estate and the wine "Au pied du Mont Chauve" is the haute couture estate of the Picard family, praised in the RVF 2023 green guide: wines from prestigious Burgundy terroirs, from biodynamically cultivated vines and cared for like Grand Crus.

With the most beautiful plots of land in Chassagne, Puligny and Corton, this haute couture address chisels real gems from this beautiful terroir. A confidential and restricted range of wines which honors the Chassagne-Montrachet finage that the Picard family has been cultivating for 70 years.
Wine Powered by a nuanced, full-bodied vintage, the 2019 White Chassagne-Montrachet En Pimont, bordering the 1st growth Les Chaumées, is an amiable-looking Chardonnay with plenty of vigor. It develops a chalky, extremely refined and mineral texture, punctuated by fine oak and vanilla notes from the aging process as well as a touch of citrus zest. This fresh, juicy and lively Chassagne, with a halo of tender, perfectly ripe flavors of fruit, will defy the years.
Vinification Hand harvested, whole bunch pressing.
Aged 18 months on lees, including 10 months in wood (Burgundy rooms and tuns).
