The estate and the wine
The estate and the wine In the hands of the Alessandria family since 1870, Fratelli Alessandria is one of the glories of Barolo. Located in the heart of the appellation, in Verduno, it embodies the very best of the Nebbiolo grape variety, combining its depth with a lot of delicacy and grace.

This prized address has only 12 hectares of vineyards and therefore remains quite confidential. Fans of elegant and refined wines will adore this estate!
Wine The 2018 Red Barolo Del Comune di Verdino is an extremely precise wine. The scents of blackcurrant, dark berries, and violets melt into a palate of great intensity. This is an educational Barolo, embracing the highest standards of the appellation in an unquestionable and formal execution. Freshness, minerality, and delicate tannins form a high-flying, terribly fulfilling, and seductive wine. Rated 94+/100 by Parker.
Vinification Hand harvested in October. Fermentation and maceration in temperature-controlled vats for 25 to 30 days. Aged for 3 years in French and Slovenian oak barrels. Bottled the 4th year after the harvest.
