The estate and the wine
The estate and the wine Following in the footsteps of Pierre-Jean Villa, a leading figure in Côte Rôtie, Pauline and Hugo Villa have been forging their own path since 2022. They are nurturing an impeccable and enthusiastic range of cuvées, balancing between négociant and estate wines. With a refined and accomplished style that is already very promising, they produce sleek and flavorful wines from Crozes-Hermitage, Saint-Joseph, Condrieu, and the surrounding areas, each sourced from the best vineyards and sectors.

This is a striking new entry into the Rhône arena, sure to charm enthusiasts and satisfy a wide audience, as their wines are offered at highly accessible prices for these prestigious appellations.

The next generation is here: seize these wines urgently, as the quantities available are extremely limited.
Wine Pure Viognier from parcels bordering Condrieu, the 2022 White Vin de France Question d’Equilibre opens with remarkable freshness, featuring notes of apricot, peach skin, and a hint of bergamot, indicating perfectly ripened grapes. On the palate, the wine is precise, ripe, fresh, and energetic, with a lingering finish of very fine bitterness. A superb white, ready to drink over the next 3 years and beyond.
Vinification Hand harvested. Whole harvest vinification. Low-temperature settling for 12 to 24 hours. Aged 60% in stainless steel vats and 40% in demi-muids.
