The estate and the wine
The estate and the wine A discovery of the Selection Committee, Domaine de Gaubourg has made a spectacular entry among the must-follow estates. Launched by top names in the wine world (Thibaud Boudignon, Danjou-Banessy), Félix Célard left the kitchens of Le Bristol to create his own wines on the schist terroirs of Anjou.

It’s clear he made the right choice: this talented newcomer immediately impressed with wines that are bold yet fresh, with remarkable depth and precision. A rising star that won’t stay in the shadows for long…
Wine The 2024 IGP Val de Loire Rosa Red is a charming spring wine, offering a juicy, delightful profile with beautiful notes of strawberry and raspberry, complemented by hints of rose and dried peony. Elegant and smooth, its fine texture reveals soft, velvety tannins that caress the palate. A beautifully infused red, full of finesse, perfect with poultry or white meat.
Vinification Hand harvested grapes. Whole grapes are vinified for the Grolleau, while the Cabernet Franc is destemmed. Aged for 6 months in stainless steel vats.
