Buoyed by a beautiful vintage, the 2018 Red Saint-Emilion Grand Cru Château Grand Barrail Lamarzelle Figeac has a fine nose with pit fruit and graphite aromas, and a very slight evolution that befits it. The firm palate, carried by firm tannins, delivers a tight whole, in a register that remains delicate and fresh, with a very nice graphite return on the finish; a fine bottle that will age a few more years serenely, rated 92/100 by the Committee. |
