A newly recognized winery, Domaine Gaudray was established in 2003 in Puligny by Alain Gaudray, a devoted Burgundy enthusiast. Today, his four children have joined the endeavor to uphold his vision and continue crafting fine wines in the Puligny, Santenay, and Saint-Aubin regions. |

Facing southeast, the 2018 White Puligny-Montrachet reveals a beautiful expression of Chardonnay on these premier limestone soils. Notes of peach, fresh almond, and candied citrus first greet the nose, accompanied by a hint of spices, vanilla, and white flowers. The palate is both powerful and sharp, with a lovely richness and a very impressive zesty finish. It can be enjoyed now, especially with dishes like buttery perch, prawns, or monkfish stew. |
