The 2022 red Saint-Joseph exudes beautiful Syrah maturity, with notes of black fruit, tapenade and cocoa. The palate is full-bodied and slightly spicy, with hints of violets and balsamic. It's an expressive, fleshy wine, of fine dimension, carried by its density and firm tannins without harshness. A fine bottle that will keep well for another decade. Rated 93/100 by Olivier Poussier, World's Best Sommelier and member of the Comité de Vente à la Propriété. |
