The estate and the wine Well established in Châteauneuf-du-Pape in the Bédarrides area, the Giuliani family is crafting magnificent wines on this promising and elite terroir.

Old vines of 60 years and more, limestone soils mixed with sand and pebbles and minimal yields allow the blossoming of sincere wines, carried by the Grenache grape variety, both in Châteauneuf-du-Pape and in Côtes-du-Rhône appellations.

Taste this wine from century-old Grenache grapes, aged in barrels and amphorae. A true gem which is just as exceptional by its very reasonable price. An absolute must-have for every Rhone Valley enthusiast!
Wine A pure black Grenache planted on a terroir of sand, red sandstone and pebbles, the 2018 Red La Belle Endormie Châteauneuf-du-Pape will smitten any lover of the appellation! Its notes of porcini, stone fruit, peony, and its beautiful infused palate are not unlike the best expressions of the grenache grape variety from a highly sought after estate in the appellation... This century-old vine stands out by its finesse, length and class in a vintage where the winemaker's talent complements the terroir to perfection. Rated 94/100 by our Selection Committee.
Vinification Hand harvested from an almost hundred year old plot on a terroir of sand, red sandstone and pebbles. Vinification in wooden tuns of 50 hl, 30% whole bunches and 70% destemmed, cold vinification and indigenous yeasts. Remontages, délestages throughout the fermentation for a soft extraction. Aged for 18 months in amphorae and barrels. Production of 2 500 bottles.
