A Premier Grand Cru Classé of Saint-Émilion, Château La Gaffelière enjoys a prime location along the slope that extends from Ausone, placing it firmly among Bordeaux’s elite estates. Known for its classic yet creamy style, and benefiting from a beautifully exposed hillside terroir, the château produces refined, full-bodied wines that outshine their peers in exceptional vintages.
Having regained its prominence through a gradual yet transformative overhaul, the estate has revitalised its vineyards by focusing on Cabernet Franc, high planting density, and massal selection. Château La Gaffelière continues to captivate and promises even greater heights in the future. |
