The estate and the wine |
Nicolas Grosbois, a dedicated and talented winemaker, took over the family estate in 2008 and has elevated it to great heights, chiseling out some of Chinon's finest, ultra-friendly, gourmet wines.
On these yellow sand soils cultivated in biodynamic farming, the Cabernet Franc finds a particular resonance through supple tannins, crisp fruit, and fresh and precise aromas. Everything is done here to give priority to the full expression of this flavorful grape while focusing on finesse without any aging in wood. |

The archetype of a pulpy Cabernet Franc, of immediate tenderness, the 2021 red Chinon La Cuisine de ma Mère releases ripe and fresh flavors of fruit of great purity! The graphite touch is immediately seductive, surrounding a suave, vibrant palate with elegant and silky tannins. A superb and pleasurable wine, both fresh and precise, which seduces by its simplicity. To be drunk slightly chilled with grilled meats, white meats or cured meats. |
