The estate and the wine
The estate and the wine One of the crown jewels of Burgundy, Albert Grivault reigns unequivocally over the Côte de Beaune. It boasts some of the most beautiful terroirs of burgundy in their portfolio, producing wines with an expert touch that largely exceed the standard of their appellation, even going as far as overshadowing a number of grand crus…

Their prices, however, have remained sheltered from the general surge as the estate owns 100% of its vineyards. Naturally, the requests for these wines are pouring in and far exceed the available production each year !
Wine Full-bodied, the 2017 White Meursault Clos du Murger is a rich and balanced Chardonnay that is very precise and full. The wine displays an appreciable roundness, with notes of hazelnut, fresh butter and white flowers in a very delicate palate. A very nice Meursault, exemplary of its terroir, built for aging... Rated 93/100 Bettane+Desseauve.
Vinification Hand harvested, fermented and aged in oak barrels.
