The estate and the wine
The estate and the wine One of the crown jewels of Burgundy, Albert Grivault reigns unequivocally over the Côte de Beaune. It boasts some of the most beautiful terroirs of burgundy in their portfolio, producing wines with an expert touch that largely exceed the standard of their appellation, even going as far as overshadowing a number of grand crus…

Their prices, however, have remained sheltered from the general surge as the estate owns 100% of its vineyards. Naturally, the requests for these wines are pouring in and far exceed the available production each year !
Wine The 2018 White Meursault 1er Cru Perrières is almost the prerogative of the Grivault estate, which is the main owner of this appellation. Devilishly charming, both rich and mineral, it offers itself with generosity, finesse and elegance, with buttery and salty notes. A great wine and a must-have for sure!
Vinification Hand harvested, settling of 2 days, housing in oak barrels (1/5 of new barrels, 1/5 of one wine, 1/5 of 2 wines, 1/5 of 3 wines, 1/5 of 4 wines), ageing in a cold cellar at 13°C dug in the rock of the Place du Murger during 6 to 9 months for the evolution of the aromas, housing in barrels of less than 4 wines
