The estate and the wine |
The Château d’Ampuis rivals the very best bottles of the Côte Rôtie appellation, at the level of the more famous Landonne, Mouline and Turque wines. This wine comes from 7 exceptional terroirs, on the two mythical Côtes Brune et Blonde, from vines that are at least 50 years old. |

Rich and powerful, the 2017 Red Château d’Ampuis Côte Rôtie has a beautiful volume and stature, with intense, ripe black fruit aromas. It has all the attributes perfect for years of aging and its tasting in a few years should be just as amazing, if not more. |
