The estate and the wine
The estate and the wine Maison Guigal is the pinnacle of French viticulture today…a fantastic success story coupled with a tremendous human adventure that truly does it all: from producing large volumes with unwavering quality and regularity to delivering amazing parcel-based wines.

Icons of the Rhone Valley region, whose quality is acclaimed by critics from around the world, the Mouline, Landonne, and Turque Côte Rôtie wines are some of the most sought-after bottles of their appellations. Testaments to the genius of their winemaker and built for long years of aging, they are powerful, complex, and refined wines that will stand the test of time.

Praised by Robert Parker, their 2018 vintage is already a success. Impeccably crafted wines that already claim a place amongst the best bottles of the last two decades.
Wine Produced from a single 90-acre parcel of land on the “Côte Brune”, the 2018 Red La Turque Côte Rôtie is an exceptional wine. A bottle whose deep and concentrated aromas and beautiful harmony rival those of legendary vintages (2015, 2010, or 2009 come to mind). This is a wine that already bears all the hallmarks of a legend. The Parker Guide gives it a provisional rating of 98-100/100, waiting for some years of aging to bring its rank to the highest possible, so much so that the critic even mused “is there a rate even higher than 100?”... A perfect vintage whose intensity and aromatic complexity, with notes of black olive, truffle, and exotic spices is simply breathtaking. Rated 98-100/100 by Parker.
Vinification Hand harvested, vinification in thermo-regulated stainless steel vats, extraction by regular punching down, 40 months maturation in new oak barrels.
