The estate and the wine
The estate and the wine Maison Guigal is the pinnacle of French viticulture today…a fantastic success story coupled with a tremendous human adventure that truly does it all: from producing large volumes with unwavering quality and regularity to delivering amazing parcel-based wines.

Whether it is for his parcel-based wines or his lieux-dits, the level remains very high, with feverish attention paid to every detail. His Saint-Joseph Vignes de l'Hospice is undoubtedly one of the stars of the appellation and remains, year after year, one of the best Saint-Joseph wines.
Wine Rated 94-96/100 by Parker, from a mythical parcel of the appellation, the 2020 Red Saint-Joseph Vignes de l'Hospice remains one of the best wines of Saint-Joseph. On this vintage of excellent constitution, it offers an extra depth and concentration. Rich and velvety, with juicy and abundant flavors of fruit such as black cherry and smoky touches, it imposes its perfumed palate, restoring the vibration of the granite with brio. It's a great wine, but give it more time!
Vinification Hand harvested, temperature controlled, aged in new oak barrels for 30 months.
