The estate and the wine
The estate and the wine A leading figure in Provence and a 3-star estate in the RVF Guide, Dominique Hauvette is one of those rare winemakers who has carved out a truly unique style—one that is entirely her own.

Her wines are vibrant, full of character, and boldly innovative, always driven by an unwavering pursuit of energy, freshness, and balance.

Practicing biodynamics since 2003, she works with low yields, gentle, sulfur-free vinification, and meticulous aging in a mix of tanks, barrels, foudres, and concrete eggs. The result? Exquisitely expressive wines with a delicate infusion-like style that stands apart in the Provençal landscape.

Now one of the most respected winemakers in Provence, Dominique Hauvette’s influence extends far beyond the region. Named Winemaker of the Year 2020 by RVF, she is an iconic figure whose talent and vision leave a lasting impression.
Wine Powered by the energy of old-vine Cinsault, with Carignan and Grenache rounding out the blend, the 2023 Red Améthyste from IGP Alpilles delivers a beautifully perfumed wine of striking finesse. It’s a radiant expression, offering delicious floral aromas, gentle spice, and the wild herbal notes of the garrigue, all woven into a fresh, elegant, and finely textured frame. This is one of those rare wines that unfolds gradually in the glass, revealing a silky mouthfeel and ultra-smooth tannins. Produced in tiny quantities, it’s a sought-after treasure among discerning wine lovers.
Vinification Hand harvested, completely destemmed, vinification in wooden truncated cone-shaped vats with light daily punchdowns. Aged in ovoid concrete vats for 1 year.

Certified organic wine.
