Infinitely pure and crystalline, the wines of Domaine Huet are definitely among the greatest white wines in the world. Whatever the nature of the vintage, the quality is always extraordinary, in adequacy with the excellence of the terroir. A precision of nuances and textures absolutely unique in the Loire Valley, coupled with a reading of the expression of each climate and location that is completely stunning.

Rather sunny in character, with notes of juicy pear, the 2018 white Semi-Dry Vouvray Le Haut-Lieu comes with great finesse of expression, where the generous character of the vintage is perfectly tamed, offering a fine persistence of ripe citrus flavors. All in fruit tenderness, in aromatic restraint, slender and hyper digestible, it augurs a magnificent bottle, carried by a bitterness and an invigorating tension for the next fifteen years. Rated 92/100 by the Committee and the RVF. |
