Champion of the vintage, the 2020 Red Moulin-à-Vent promises to be a great wine for aging, certainly one of the estate's finest successes. The nose is precise, pure, and bewitching, expressing with delight all the maturity of a Gamay from a great terroir; the fruit dominates, with an insistent touch of coulis and cherry. The palate is concentrated, velvety, and exquisite, with a woody taste in tune with the fruit. Sumptuous! Rated 95/100 by the Committee. |
