With more than 150 years of history, a multiplicity of great terroirs and an unbroken passion, this splendid institution is happily charting its course, thanks to a classic winemaking style that brings out the best in both terroir and vintage. |

The 2017 red Monthélie 1er Cru Champ Fulliot is a little gem that's already ready to drink but could still accomplish a few more years of aging. The delicate nose reveals notes of Morello cherry, with the freshness and positive evolution of 2017. The palate is lightly extracted, infused rather than full-bodied, with a slight graininess, mellow tannins, good overall texture and great balance. A very fine Premier Cru level. |
