Marked by aromas of black fruits and spices, the 2019 Red Saint-Joseph Sortilège is still quite a young wine that can be enjoyed over the next 5 years. At this stage, it can be served decanted for a maximum of flavors. The palate has beautiful aromas of red and black fruits and smooth tannins and a fresh finish. It is a solidly built wine, a great Syrah built for aging to be enjoyed with grilled red meats or in sauce. Rated 90/100 by our Selection Committee. |
