The estate and the wine
The estate and the wine An inspired winemaker, Benoît Eschard crafts elegant and always delicate wines at Domaine Jeannin-Naltet, leveraging an invaluable heritage of vines in Mercurey 1ers Crus with unique potential.

Naturally rigorous and perfectionist, he succeeded his uncle and has since undertaken a complete revolution. Awarded 2 stars by the RVF Guide, he perfectly defines his cuvées, masterfully blending finesse with power.
Wine Offering one of the most mineral expressions of Mercurey, the 2021 red Mercurey 1er Cru Monopole Clos des Grand Voyens embodies Pinot Noir in its purest form. It presents a slightly austere, sanguine profile, yet with undeniable potential. The perfectly encased structure, backed by beautifully mature grapes, carries vigorous tannins that blossom into a rich and refined finish: this is undoubtedly a great wine for aging, best reserved in the cellar. Rated 94/100 by RVF.
Vinification Hand-harvested, aged in oak barrels for 12 months, of which 30% are new.
