The blossoming of this beautiful vineyard in the Loire Valley has been meteoric. Jonathan Pabiot started modestly with 3 hectares of organic vines, and now has 20 hectares and biodynamic certification, and has been awarded a star in the Revue du Vin France's Guide Vert, making him one of the most prestigious addresses in France. This rise to prominence has been conscientiously accompanied by meticulous work on each wine; as precise as he is passionate, Jonathan vinifies extremely meticulous wines, reconciling tension, depth and texture. |

Far from being too technical, the 2017 white Pouilly-Fumé Prédilection displays a beautifully evolved style with tasty root notes. Produced from beautiful terraced white earth plots overlooking the Loire, it's a complex, mealtime white, both full-bodied and sharp, that can be enjoyed today with creamy lake fish or poultry. Rated 16/20 by the Committee and Bettane+Desseauve. |
