A historic and family-run estate in Ampuis, Domaine Lafoy stands as a staple of the northern Rhône. The arrival of Gaëtan Lafoy has elevated the quality even further in a continuous quest for freshness and precision. He produces impeccable cuvées in a natural and very digestible style, complemented by beautiful aging in wood. |

Originating from the fine terroirs of Ampuis, nestled between the Côte Blonde and Côte Brune, the 2021 red Côte Rôtie Prélude commands respect with a perfect balance between maturity and aging. It's a lovely Syrah, with scents of black fruit and spices, featuring fresh tannins and a smoky finish, and sophisticated aging that will easily carry it through the next 5 to 6 years. |
