The estate and the wine
The estate and the wine One of the most renowned addresses of the Champagne region, Krug is a true icon that produces only the most prestigious wines, such as its Grande Cuvée. Now numbered, it embodies the spirit of the House and is a skillful blend of several dozen wines from complementary vintages, which are then further aged for a minimum of seven years.

With exceptional reserve wines marked by meticulous barrel maturation, this prestigious brand will delight wine lovers everywhere. The coherence of each vintage and the accuracy of the wines produced, always with great regularity, was rewarded this year with a 4th star in the Guide Vert RVF, the most prestigious award possible.
Wine True to its inimitable style, the Krug Grande Cuvée 171st Edition Champagne is a major success. Made around the 2015 harvest, a blend of 131 wines from 12 different years (the youngest dating from 2015 and the oldest from 2000), this champagne has aged seven years in the cellar, gaining in expression and elegance. It opens with lovely floral, ripe citrus, almond and gingerbread aromas. The palate, magnificent with fuller-bodied flavors, hints of toast, dried fruit and ripe fruit, comes alive with lovely tension. A great Champagne, as always irresistible and impeccably mastered. Rated 94/100 by Parker.
Vinification Comprising 131 wines from twelve different years, including the oldest from 2000 and the youngest from 2015. The bottles have rested for around 7 years in our cellars.
