The estate and the wine
The estate and the wine Propelled by a first-rate terroir, Domaine Labruyère reigns supreme over the finest parcels of Moulin-à-Vent. Supervised by Nadine Gublin, oenologist for the eminent Burgundian estate Jacques Prieur, the wines reach new heights of mastery and fullness, particularly on this fine 2016 vintage.

Discover the great wine of the estate, coming from a 92 ares closed vineyard in monopoly planted with hundred-year-old vines. A vintage that gave its name to the appellation and which is offered today in a floral and delicate vintage.

A Selection Committee Favorite !
Wine From 92 ares in monopole, the 2016 Red Moulin-à-Vent Le Clos du Moulin-à-Vent is the centerpiece of the estate. On this suave and floral vintage, with a hint of peony, it delivers a delicate, suave texture, with silky tannins; the whole is very balanced and of great harmony. Already ready to drink, extremely well opened, it can be served with a veal chop with cloves, or even a fillet of venison. Rated 94/100 by the Committee.
Vinification Hand harvested and totally de-stemmed. Alcoholic fermentation in concrete vats, ageing in oak barrels (10% new wood) and demi-muids for 16 months, then in concrete vats for 2 months.
