A new cuvée from the estate, produced here for the 4th time, the 2023 Red Morgon Côte du Py Javernières Aux Pierres comes from a stony terroir in the beautiful Javernières area, rich in clay and deep manganese. The 90-year-old vines provide remarkable depth, consistency, and volume, while aging in ovoid concrete vats preserves the pure, expressive, and radiant fruit. With 100% whole-cluster fermentation, the juice is sumptuous and fleshy, marked by notes of violet and spices. A Morgon built for aging, without a doubt. |
