The estate and the wine Enjoying beautiful gravelly hilltops and a clay plateau in the Martillac area, Château La Garde benefits from the same assets as its prestigious neighbors Smith-Haut-Lafitte or Latour-Martillac. This estate, undoubtedly one of the best value for money in the area, produces balanced and full-bodied wines, of a quality level equal to its illustrious neighbors.

The opportunity is just too good to be able to acquire a ready-to- drink vintage at a special price reserved only for our VIPs!
Wine With a smooth and refined body, the 2013 red Château La Garde Pessac-Léognan offers a beautiful expression of this gravelly terroir. Fruity and smoky nuances assert themselves in a medium-bodied, very accessible palate, with round and fresh tannins. It will be perfectly at ease with roast poultry or a veal chop with thyme.
Vinification Hand harvested. Aged on fine lees in oak barrels of which 30% are new. Bottled in May 2015.
