A discreet but inspired winemaker, Laurent Martray always impresses us with magnificent wines, always at reasonable prices... This Côte de Brouilly Vieilles Vignes is a real gem: enjoy this qualitative wine in exclusivity!
Wine Another success by Laurent Martray! The 2016 Red Vieilles Vignes Côte de Brouilly is a sapid, joyful red, with a very fine texture, sailing pleasantly between aromas of morello cherry and small red fruits. This is a Gamay that will, with time, take on Burgundian accents, especially in this cool, tense vintage, which offers a pleasing prospect! Serve it slightly chilled, paired with veal or beef, or simply with a snack and some artisanal charcuterie. Rated 92/100 by our Selection Committee.
Vinification Hand harvested, vinification from 14 to 16 days, for 50% of the harvest in whole bunches, with a semi-carbonic maceration. Aged in tuns and barrels.
