The estate and the wine
The estate and the wine A true talent in Brouilly, Laurent Martray puts his heart and skill into showcasing the best of this historic terroir. Born and raised in the region, he crafts vibrant, expressive wines that are generous, full of character, and built to age beautifully.

His Corentin cuvée, made from old vines on a prime hillside plot, is the purest expression of his craft. With its stunning depth and energy, it easily holds its own against some of Burgundy’s finest.
Wine The 2023 Red Brouilly Corentin, rated 95/100 and a Selection Committee favorite, is the estate’s flagship cuvée. Aged for 14 months in Burgundy barrels—without any new oak—it reveals intense aromas of ripe Burlat cherries with a striking freshness. On the palate, the oak is already seamlessly integrated, allowing the wine’s generous, dense, and lively character to shine. This is a full-bodied Gamay, both smooth and fleshy, with irresistible richness. Already approachable, bursting with vibrant fruit, it also has the potential to delight for another ten years.
Vinification Hand harvested. Vinification in the Burgundian spirit between 14 and 16 days, 100% whole grapes with semi-carbonic maceration. Aged for 14 months in 225-litre old oak barrels. Bottled in February 2025. No filtration. Production of 3,800 bottles.
Old vines on a 0.60 ha plot in the Balloquets terroir.
