The distillery |

From the finest distilleries in the Caribbean, Plantation rums benefit from French expertise and a dual culture, born and aged in the tropics, then matured in Cognac.
Alexandre Gabriel, a renowned Master Blender, has created a unique and exceptional range of terroir rums, based on a selection of rare batches and very specific expertise in aging.
All rums, blends and vintages alike, benefit from a unique "double ageing" process: the rums are brought back by boat to the Charentes region, where they are matured for several months in Maison Ferrand barrels. |

The Plantation Black Cask Rum comes from an original blend of Barbadian and Cuban origins, aged in barrels under the tropical sun and benefiting from a unique ageing process known as double ageing. When the time is right, the rums are brought from their country of origin to the Domaine de Bonbonnet in Cognac, and matured for several more months in Maison Ferrand's own small oak casks. In our glasses, it's already a festival of fresh, honeyed, citrus and vanilla aromas, as well as almond and roasted notes. The palate combines power and freshness, perfumed with praline flavors, delicate woodiness and a smoky finish. |
