'Barge 166' is the first barge dedicated to the aging of rums and cognacs. Located in Issy-les-Moulineaux, on the outskirts of Paris, it was completely renovated and redesigned by Maison Ferrand between 2020 and 2021. The barrels benefit from unique aging conditions: a high humidity level, a wide temperature range, dynamic aging using a hydraulic system, and the use of small 30-liter French oak barrels. |

This Jamaican rum was first aged for 5 years in Bourbon barrels on-site, then for an additional 5 years in 400-liter barrels in Cognac, and finally transferred to the banks of the Seine River for a 6-month finishing period in these small 30-liter barrels. |
