The estate and the wine |
Domaine de l’Arlot, a true gem of Burgundy, proudly holds 3 stars from the RVF Guide. Established in the 18th century, it’s a Côte de Nuits icon, celebrated for its passionate yet understated expression of Burgundian Pinot Noir. The estate is also renowned for producing one of the region’s most unique and captivating white wines.
For the past ten years, Géraldine Godot has been at the helm, overseeing 15 hectares of organically farmed vines. Among the estate's treasures are the prestigious Romanée Saint-Vivant Grand Cru and the Vosne-Romanée Premier Cru Les Suchots. Yet, its crown jewel remains the Clos des Forêts Saint-Georges, a monopole vineyard covering 7.2 hectares. |

The 2022 Nuits-Saint-Georges Premier Cru Clos des Forêts Saint-Georges Red Wine is the first vintage crafted without whole cluster fermentation, yet it continues to embody the elegance and precision that define the estate's reputation. Its supple, velvety texture carries a good intensity, balanced by fine, crisp tannins that reflect the chalky depth of this remarkable terroir, all the way through to its licorice-tinged finish. A stunning achievement—precise, vibrant, and rated 95/100 by RVF. |
