Producing wines on the most prestigious Burgundy terroirs from vines cultivated using biodynamic methods and cared for with the same care as a Grand Crus, the Picard family has established itself as a reference in the region.
In addition to its haute-couture Au pied du Mont Chauve selection, it also owns the Domaine Levert-Barault, the oldest vineyard in Mercurey. These barely ten hectares are cultivated organically and have been producing high-quality wines for several vintages now. What a wonder of pinot noir! The 2020 Red Mercurey Le Printemps offers a very aromatic wine with a wonderful nose of rose and ripe cherry. On this generous vintage, the structure remains fresh and balanced, delivering a well-managed wine boasting both sapidity and density. A very beautiful bottle with an aging potential of 5 to 7 years. Rated 93/100 by the Committee. |
