Wine The 2017 Red Madiran is a very beautiful expression of tannat, the king grape of the appellation. Of beautiful intensity, it carries beautiful aromas of black fruits, ink and graphite, well installed in a pure palate that is firm but with very fine tannins. Maturity, aromatic purity, density, richness: everything comes together perfectly to form this bottle already ready to be served with a duck breast or a beef cheek with carrots. Rated 16/20 by our Selection Committee.
Vinification Hand harvested, long maceration, punching of the cap at the beginning of fermentation, 18 months maturation in cement and stainless steel vats on fine lees.
