The estate and the wine |

Michel Chapoutier scours the world's vineyards with an insatiable curiosity and extraordinary winemaking skills. Despite his success, he is never satisfied and always looking for the best terroirs. His intuition led him to Australia, where he developed a passion for these sublime wines.
He settled in at Domaine de Tournon, in the state of Victoria, renowned for its fresh terroirs. Here, he produces some of the region's finest red wines. |

The 2015 red Lady's Lane Vineyard is a great wine. Victoria's shale and clay soils are the most favorable for producing fine wines that age well. Michel Chapoutier was right once again, and this Syrah delivers a concentrate of spices, with incense, and delicate notes of red fruits. Concentration, smooth tannins, persistence, and finesse form a Syrah wine that combines richness and delicacy. An undeniable success! |

Hand-harvested, totally de-stemmed, fermented in concrete vats and macerated for 4 to 6 weeks, gently extracted by punching down, aged for 14 months in French oak barrels (10 to 15% new). |
